Product Certification
SCA is an ATEX certification body authorized to affix the CE marking required to ensure the free movement of products, including within European Union countries, for manufacturers producing ex-proof devices designed and manufactured for use in explosive atmospheres in accordance with the 2014/34/EU ATEX Directive.

By ensuring compliance with ATEX and other international standards, we perform all necessary tests and evaluations to ensure the safe use of your products. As an accredited body, we meticulously manage all certification processes.
SCA, within the scope of the ATEX certification process, rigorously conducts tests to verify that products operate safely and appropriately under conditions compliant with the "EN 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories" standard. Additionally, to ensure the validity and reliability of product certification processes, it fully complies with all the requirements of the "EN 17065 General Criteria for Product Certification Bodies" standard.

Annex 3 (Module B):
EU-Type Examination Module - This module is carried out to ensure type approval for mass-produced products. It includes an independent assessment of compliance with relevant ATEX standards.
Annex 4 (Module D):
Type Conformity Based on Quality Assurance of the Manufacturing Process - This module is applied to ensure that the manufacturer produces products conforming to a specific type under quality assurance conditions in the production process. It requires continuous inspections and quality control mechanisms during production.
Annex 6 (Module C1):
Type Conformity Based on Supervised Product Testing and Internal Production Control - This module involves testing products and applying internal control systems during production. It ensures that products continuously conform to the previously approved type.
Annex 7 (Module E):
Type Conformity Based on Product Quality Assurance - This module covers the effective implementation of quality assurance systems to continuously monitor and inspect product quality throughout the production process.
Annex 8 (Module A):
Internal Production Control Module as per Article 15.1.b (ii) - This module requires the effective operation of internal control systems at all stages of the production process. It certifies the accuracy and reliability of manufacturers' internal quality control processes.
Annex 9 (Module G):
Type Conformity Based on Unit Verification - This module applies to devices that are not mass-produced but manufactured in limited quantities. It ensures certification on a per-device basis, particularly for special and low-volume productions.
